Property Summary
The clients owned a dated detached bungalow they wanted to renovate and extend. After lengthy informed discussions it was found uneconomical to repair the original property and much more beneficial and cost effective to design a completely new house.
Challenges
The clients had a great location in Morley for their new home but needed inspiration and guidance about what kind of property was achievable for their new home. BDS Architecture helped the clients through the design process and established what was feasible for the replacement property within budget.
The Solution
A stylish new house was designed by BDS Architecture incorporating every detail the clients requested. Large feature windows to both the front and the rear of the property. Red brick and grey windows specified as the main materials to build the house. Internally the property was designed to be spacious and light featuring a mezzanine entrance hall.
The Outcome
Although, originally the project was going to be an extension and renovation design the clients were delighted with achieving so much with a brand new house design. As BDS Architecture and the clients had worked so well together through the design process, they commissioned BDS to project manage and construct their new house. This enabled the full project to be realized from design through to reality.
